The Phoenix Jazzmen |
Six musicians came together in 2011, to play the style of music they love.
Although the Phoenix Jazzmen is a new band, there is lots of experience in the ranks. All of it's members have been playing for many years, with various bands and encompassing several different styles
|
The solid back line consistis of Pete Robinson who is equally accomplished on guitar and banjo, Bob Boucher on bass, who is just as happy playing in a variety of styles including Rock & Roll or mainstream jazz, and Ken Wright a versatile drummer who holds it all together

There's a New Band In Town.... |
|
The front line is ably led by Pete Ainge on trumpet, with Mike Hayler on clarinet & saxophone, and Terry McGrath on trombone, and occasional penny whistle!
With several vocalists in the band, and a light hearted approach this all makes for a great party band.
